A mandibular advancement splint (MAS) is a dental device used to treat obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The device works by repositioning the lower jaw and tongue forward, helping to keep the airway open during sleep. MAS is designed to be a comfortable and convenient alternative to continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy, and can be worn during sleep to help manage symptoms of OSA.
