Nocturnal sleep-related eating disorder (NS-RED) is a type of parasomnia in which a person gets up during the night to eat, often without any memory of the event. NS-RED is often associated with binge eating and can result in weight gain and other health problems. Treatment for NS-RED may involve medication, therapy, or changes to sleep habits and routines.
